Science Fair

Meghan did well on her science project. She not only recieved an A+ on it for a class grade, she also won 1st place in the physical science category at the school science fair for her grade level. She was called out of class yesterday to present her project to the judges and explain what she did, the graphs and charts and how long the project took. The lesson I told her she needed to take away from this was that being thorough really matters. She beat out other neat projects in her grade level because her project was not one that could be done at the last minute. She took the entire two months to perform her project and did lots of research. She also noted things her liquids had in common for the nails that did the worst. As a 1st place winner, her project is moving to the county level fair which will be held in the spring. Meghan is very excited!!

Meghan also had the first two of her holiday performances yesterday. She had a solo at both and did very well. She has one more today with her solo. Next Tues will be the start of her next 4 concerts followed by tap on Saturday.
